I love the Alexa idea, because my mind is always wondering how to say certain things while driving. I also listen to Language Pod 101 while driving.

Like you said, driving does take a surprising amount of your attention. So native-level materials I would normally be able to understand become incomprehensible behind the wheel. So I have to choose easier materials.

Driving gives you a lot of free language hours without impacting anything else.
