I think about the mechanism of children acquiring languages faster, which is often attributed to their more "plastic" brains. Also, children playing with each other have way more context clues than adults, who often stop playing games. For example, "Pass me the ball." Children also have way more upward social mobility and will be invited to play, regardless of their speaking ability. I'm curious what your thoughts are. What specifically do children do that makes them fluent in 10 months? Is there something we can emulate as adults?
