If you went into this article with a closed mind, you're only going to find things you don't like. If you went into it with an open mind, you'll find a mix of good points and things that could have been better visited. I find that if you're driven by curiosity, the corporate world will impede this with processes and systems and clearly defined roles and responsibilities. You have to prove yourself anywhere from 6 months to 5 years to steer the ship. Where as a freelancer, you can steer the ship from day 1.
