It brings me great joy that you're placing a special emphasis on getting new learners to speak. It is one of the greatest mental barriers. Learners have so much fear of making mistakes, being scolded, or ridiculed, that many don't start speaking at all.
Motivation is also very important, though I might add that often my love for the language is found in the middle of the journey, not the beginning.
