Surprising Life Lessons From NFT Artists
Digital artists do not like being called NFT artists anymore: They just want to be called “artists.” But that would not make for a good title.

The market was manic. The NFT artists hacked Twitter’s algorithm by retweeting all their fellow artists. I met interesting people from all over the world with fascinating life stories. The NFT community created an unfounded sense of camaraderie for artists who were previously confined to their local markets.
Shill Your Face, Not Your Art
The artists who got the most sales were visible and active everywhere. From Discord groups to Twitter spaces to meetups and podcasts, artists knew they had to sell their name first. An artists sales came from those in their circle, and those who expanded their circle got the sales. The biggest mistake artists made was pitching their product before pitching themselves.
